Merchants (Sellers of Services and Products):

To Use this site you agree to the following Terms

1. You are 100% responsible for all data you upload to the site. By using this site, you will not hold LMI responsible for any loss resulting from using this site.

2. You will honour all printable, verbal or other promotions to customers uploaded to the site.

3. Please note the wording of your promotions is your responsibility.  Any errors or ommissions that are misinterpreted by consumers using this site are the responsibility of the merchant using this site.

4. No Basic Listings are permitted on myCanadianSavings.ca. THIS IS NOT A DIRECTORY

5. Merchants are in control of the feedback placed on the site.

6. Impersonation of merchants or otherwise is illegal.  Data is kept on the publishers of information to this site and any fraudulant behaviour will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

   7. Our service cannot be used for any activities that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity.

   8. Merchants are reps

   LMI contains links to third party Web sites that are maintained, operated and owned by other content providers. Therefore, LMI does not assume responsibility regarding the content, practices, policies or accuracy of materials on such third-party website or the companies that own them. Consequently, we do not have editorial control over any third party website. These links are provided solely as a convenience to you and are not endorsed by LMI. By using LMI you expressly relieve us from and waive any and all liability arising from your use of any third party website or receipt of services from any third party.

Consumers (Buyers of Products and Services)

1. LMI m hereby grants you permission to use the Site and the Services in accordance with these Agreements, provided that: 

   (1) your use of the Site and Services, as applicable, are solely for your personal use; 

   (2) you will not copy or distribute any part of the Site or Services in any medium or manner inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions without LMI's prior written consent; 

   (3) you will not alter or modify any part of the Site other than providing your own user generated content; 

   (4) you provide accurate and complete information when creating an account; 

   (5) refrain from posting or transmitting any material which violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, or any material which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane or otherwise objectionable, which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law; 

   (6) do not post or transmit advertising or solicitation with respect to products or services without LMI written authorization; 

   (7) refrain from using the communication systems provided by or contacts made on LMI for any commercial solicitation purposes; 

   (8) refrain from collecting any personally identifiable information, including account names, email addresses, or other such information, for commercial purposes or purposes which would violate privacy laws in your jurisdiction; 

   (9) acknowledge you are solely responsible for the activity that occurs while signed in to or while using myCanadianSavings.ca; 

   (10) acknowledge your sole responsibility for your content submissions, including discussion posts, profile information and links, pictures, and other such content; 

   (11) affirm that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, permissions, and consents to use and authorize LMI  to use all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to any and all submissions by you to enable inclusion and use of the submissions across LMI websites; 

   (12) grant each mycanadiansavings.ca  user, whether using myCanadianSavings.ca or an application developed via a third-party developer, a non-exclusive license to access your submissions through myCanadianSavings.ca and to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform such submissions as permitted through myCanadianSavings.ca functionality and under these Terms of Service;

    (13) will not upload or post any material that is protected by copyrights or subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy, publicity, trade secret, etc., unless you are the owner of such rights or have the express permission from their rightful owner to specifically submit such materials to myCanadianSavings.ca; (14) except for the limited right granted to certain search engines, you agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without limitation, "robots", "spiders", "offline readers", etc. that accesses the Site in a manner that sends more request messages to LMI's servers than a human could reasonably produce; 

   
   

   
   

   (15) affirm LMI has the right to determine whether any of your submissions on any of our affiliated sites are appropriate and complies with these Terms of Service, remove any part thereof or all of your submissions, and terminate your account with or without prior notice without penalty.

   
   

   Terms and Conditions for Restaurant Deals

   • The vouchers provided for a restaurant have no cash value. They are to be used at the restaurant indicated within the terms and restrictions indicated when you purchase the Deal.

   • No cash back upon redemption or at any other time.

   • All restaurant Deals are limited to a maximum use as indicated on the Deal terms. For example, the maximum amount of Deals to be used by any given party may be limited to a certain dollar amount or number of patrons.

   • Deal redemption only valid beginning on next day after featured.

   • Use of restaurant Deals for alcoholic beverages is at the sole discretion of the restaurant, unless otherwise noted in the Deal. Restaurant agrees to comply with all state and provincial laws pertaining to the same.

   • Restaurant Deals cannot be combined with any other restaurant certificates, third party certificates, coupons, or promotions unless otherwise noted in the Deal.

   • Restaurant Deals cannot be used for taxes, tips or prior balances owing.

   • Neither the seller nor the restaurant is responsible for lost or stolen certificates or restaurant certificates reference numbers.

   • Reproduction, sale or trade of a restaurant Deal is prohibited unless done so in compliance with the law.

   • Any attempted redemption not consistent with these terms & conditions will render the Restaurant Deal void.

   • All Deals expire one (1) year from date of issue, except where otherwise prohibited by law or unless otherwise noted. Where the local laws of the User requires that a voucher expire only after a certain date or not at all, the voucher shall expire on the later of one (1) year or the expiry date required by law.

   • Other restrictions may be noted within the Deal

   
   

   Terms and Conditions for General Vendor Deals

   • The vouchers provided for a general vendor Deal have no cash value. They are to be used at the vendor indicated within the terms and restrictions indicated when you purchase the Deal.

   • No cash back upon redemption or at any other time.

   • Deal redemption only valid beginning on next day after featured.

   • Vendor Deals may be applied only to merchandise sold by Vendor, and may not be applied to shipping or handling charges unless otherwise noted.

   • The issuing of credit is at the sole discretion of the Vendor unless otherwise required by law.

   • Neither the seller nor the Vendor is responsible for lost or stolen certificate or certificate's reference number.

   • Certificate cannot be combined with any other gift certificates, third party certificates, coupons, or promotions.

   • Reproduction, sale or trade of this certificate is prohibited unless done so in compliance with the law.

   • Any attempted redemption not consistent with these terms and conditions will render the certificate null and void.

   • All Deals expire one (1) year from date of issue, except where otherwise prohibited by law or unless otherwise noted. Where the local laws of the User requires that a voucher expire only after a certain date or not at all, the voucher shall expire on the later of one (1) year or the expiry date required by law.

   • Other restrictions may be noted within the deal.

     
     

     All Deals printed from the Site are promotional certificates that are offered to you below their face value and shall be honored only in combination with additional consideration and subject to the terms and conditions of myCanadianSavings.ca and the participating restaurant or Vendor. Deals do not provide customers with an absolute right to redeem a Deal for its full value without such additional consideration.

     The holder and issuer of a restaurant Deal is the restaurant. The holder and issuer of a Vendor Deals is the Vendor. As a holder and issuer of the Deal, the restaurant or Vendor shall be fully responsible for any and all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs suffered by or in respect of a customer or User, caused in whole or in part by the restaurant or the Vendor, as well as for any unclaimed property liability arising from unredeemed certificates. Restaurant Deals and Vendor Deals are redeemable in their entirety only and may not be redeemed incrementally. By purchasing a Deal, a customer acquires the right to print a restaurant Deal or Vendor Deals, issued by any one of the numerous participating non-affiliated restaurants and Vendors. Upon completion of such transaction, you acquire that right and have that right delivered to him or her. Whether you choose to print the Deal and redeem the Deal is at your sole discretion. Whether you choose to use the restaurant Deal or Vendor Deals after printing it to get a reduction in price of a meal or a good is at your sole discretion. myCanadiansavings.ca and the participating restaurants and Vendors encourage customers to print the Deals and use them at the selected restaurants and Vendors in accordance with the terms and conditions contained therein.
